Mental Health

“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.”

– Glenn Close.

Mental health has been ignored a lot recently. All we have to do is open up and speak to a person. It is okay to let your emotions out. Confining yourself to a room and thinking over and over about the same thing doesn’t help. Having expectations on people hurts and only you can help yourself get out of anything that you don’t want to face. One of the major reasons that the people are not open about their mental condition is that people are not accommodating and unwilling to accept the mental condition of the person. They are afraid of being treated differently and unique treatment doesn’t help it just makes it worse. It is always necessary to pay attention to your mental health. Mental health has got many effects on one’s daily life which includes: physical health, family relationships, workplace relationships and so on. Ignoring the mental health conditions might cause the mental illness to worsen. It is good to take a break and sort out things and get back into the routine to feel better and happier.
