The priority for online gaming is increasing among adolescents day by day. This anonymity gives those with socially aversive personalities the desire to create a virtual life online in which they can be their real selves. Loneliness is something which incredibly increases due to the playing of online games. It is said that individuals who have deficient self-presentation skills might prefer online communication. Lonely individuals turn out to have higher preference for online interaction, since they perceive that online communication might be relatively less risky and easier than face-to-face communication because of its greater anonymity. As they devote more time and attention to their online interaction they have a hard time regulating their internet use.
